YOU MATTER is scheduled for Wednesday May 3, 2023 in the afternoon. We Need your Help! Sign up by Wednesday, April 19th!We will hold an adjusted schedule in the morning, kids will attend all classes, have lunch, and will begin YOU MATTER at 11:40 am. This day is being scheduled as a fun interactive day with our students to demonstrate healthy activities to address their mental health and wellness. We need your help to do this. We are asking everybody to think of a healthy activity that you do to support your own wellness and share that with our students. There will be three 40 minute blocks for students to sign up to engage in a healthy activity. Please sign up HERE for an activity that you can lead for our students or sign up to cover a spot already identified. Partner up if interested. We are looking for 45 sessions for our students to engage in. If you are in need of materials to run your session please send a $ quote to Erin Jacobson and Dallas Rennie. If you have any questions on YOU MATTER day reach out to Erin Jacobson, Dallas Rennie, or any member of Student Services.
From the desk of the School Nurse: All district staff are able to participate in the blended (online and in-person) CPR course offered by the district. There are classes in June/July/August available on Frontline currently. There is an online component to complete before the hands-on training: Here is the most up to date link for the Adult CPR/FA & AED blended learning class. Please have participants bring a copy of the course completion. (if you previously have completed this course through the district, be sure to use this link rather than any previous links in your Frontline history) https://www.redcrosslearning.com/course/432d2340-4985-11ec-92ad-414a63f5d619 What an excellent training to add to your skillset!
