Staff training and testing information for Pre-Act and Forward -10th Grade Pre-ACT and Forward Testing 2023
PD Information - The DCE Curriculum Office invites you to check out the multiple new asynchronous and blended course offerings now available on Frontline. Many of these offerings have deadlines for completion to ensure those of you needing hours are able to apply those credits to move lanes on the salary schedule. Please take advantage of these many new courses meant to appeal to a variety of positions in the district, including many new courses specific to content areas, as well as a student-panel led book study for any interested elementary staff! A friendly reminder that ALL PD must be submitted and approved prior to May 15.
Dr. Nye's Listening Session April 2023 -
Staffing Update - Matt Spets, Assistant Superintendent of Operations, will be resigning at the end of this school year to pursue a career change as a land agent in the private sector. We wish him the best on the road ahead! Just like when any position becomes vacant, feedback is being gathered from this team (business/finance/operations department) about the objectives of that positions and how our next steps can strengthen those aims even further.
We interviewed for Math and English positions last week - We hope to confirm top candidates this week. We will be interviewing for our FC/S positions this week and hope to interview for Science early next week. As always - if you know someone have them apply! Let me know if you have any questions.
White Paper - The senior high pays for every ream of white paper used by all the printers/copiers. The colored paper below was donated free so if you can use the free colored paper instead of white go for it.
Free Colored Paper - Just a friendly reminder that each building was sent a binder of free colored paper that is available to each building. Please see Dawn Seehafer to check the colors and sizes that are available. Currently there is a supply just inside the first door of the faculty women's bathroom across from the teacher's lounge and others that can be received from the warehouse within a day or so.
