Graduation Ceremony Faculty Seating - As a tradition, we are looking for 20 faculty members to lead in students and sit at the end of a row during the graduation ceremony.  Class advisors, department coordinators and department chairs have already been added to this seating chart.  Please let me know if any other faculty members would like to see your ELT seniors walk as we will try to seat you closest to those students.  Please contact Dawn Seehafer if interested.  Looking for 3-5 more.

Senior Teachers - Parade of Graduates - If you teach Seniors please plan on being apart of the Parade of Graduates on the 24th from 9-11 and Graduation practice from 12:15 - 2.  More information to come!

House moving - The Habitat House will be moved on the morning of May 17th. We'll need the far south lane blocked off as we have in the past to allow room for the trailers and crane. All should be cleared out by noon.

Senior Final Failures - Teachers please communicate with counselors by May 19th if you have a senior who you are sure will not pass your course.  Counselors will then determine if that failure effects graduation status.  Counselors will follow up with a call to parents/guardians ONLY IF it affects graduation status.  The assumption is that the teacher has already called parents to discuss progress related to student achievement within the class.  If a call has not been made already please do so ASAP.

Weekly Happenings
Thank you to everyone who put the effort in to pull off our last YOU MATTER day!  Students participating in the day had a ton of fun!  Thanks to all who offered a session!

What a cool partnership - This "breaching door" will be used by our SAFER fire department as a training tool for many years.  SAFER commissioned our students to make it through DCE Enterprise, saving them significant money and giving our students an authentic experience in creating custom metal manufacturing.  Riley Held, Elizabeth Koenig, and Aiden Hoppe pictured with members of the SAFER Fire Dept.
