Congratulations to Miranda Stroik on being name the New Achiever Award winner for the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences for 2023! An amazing recognition of her hard work and accomplishments.
Emily Jacobson won first place in the Grade 9-12 VFW Auxiliary Post 388 National Anthem Singing contest. Her first place win at the local level allows her to move onto state. If she wins state, she will move onto the national competition. Congratulations Emily!
Announcements/Week Ahead
YOU MATTER - Thank you to everyone who has signed up for the You Matter day on May 3rd. W'ere in need of corn hole sets and cribbage boards - If you have any that could be borrowed please contact Erin Jacobson.
We will hold an adjusted schedule in the morning, kids will attend all classes, have lunch, and will begin YOU MATTER at 11:40 am. This day is being scheduled as a fun interactive day with our students to demonstrate healthy activities to address their mental health and wellness. Thank you to everyone who offered a session for the upcoming day. There will be three 40 minute blocks for students to sign up to engage in a healthy activity. Sign ups are located HERE. If you are in need of materials to run your session please send a $ quote to Erin Jacobson and Dallas Rennie. If you have any questions on YOU MATTER day reach out to Erin Jacobson, Dallas Rennie, or any member of Student Services.

An update from Sunshine: Cards were sent to Jenny Oosterhuis and Karen Wegge this week for their recent surgery. We hope they heal fast and well!
Staffing Update - We're excited to announce that we have hired Rebecca Blaubach (Spencer) for our open FC/S position and Nicole Goff (Wittenberg-Birnamwood) for our open Science position. We have also posted a Health/PE position which is now accepting applications.

Upcoming Field Trips
Complete the following at least 2-weeks prior of your field trip:- Consider academic and curricular importance when scheduling
- Receive Principal's approval
- Make arrangements for payment/cost of trip
- Complete request form, attach student list (alpha with student's name, no nicknames, & ID number)
- If taking busses, student lists by bus with staff member name (health supplies for specific students will be packaged per bus).
- Verify each student field trip permission form is on file in IC
- Complete Online Bus Request
- Schedule appointment with Health Aide to review details about the trip
- Notice of trip and itinerary sent home
- Notify special education department/case manager of students attending the trip
- See Mike Raether if you have any questions.
