Congratulations to Paige Malitz and her signing to head to UWW for swimming.

Congratulations to Aiden Alford, Dayton Goralski, Carter Maki, and Adam Gage who took 2nd in the Finance Bowl competition out of 26 teams and will head to the state competition in the Spring!

Members of our strength and conditioning class packed 150 bags to get us ready to distribute food to our families this week. These students chose to come to school even though they had Thursday morning off!

Great show this weekend! Congratulations to all involved!!!

Our DCE Youth Apprentices are working in the areas of Agriculture, Construction, Finance, Health, Hospitality, Information Technology, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Transportation Pathways. Youth Apprentices earn great wages, high school elective credits, and a state-issued skills certificate that is recognized by employers and colleges. These students have access to high quality, industry-focused training that combines on-the-job learning, and affordable pathways to college and careers in high demand industries.

Fifty-two students from the DCE Business and Marketing Departments from both the Junior and Senior High competed in Junior Achievement’s Annual Business Challenge today at Northcentral Technical College. We are excited to share the results: 2nd place team and winning a $350 scholarship are Aiden Alford and Dayton Goralski; 3rd place team and winning a $150 scholarship are Christian Murga, Jazmine Penn and Cassie Benson; and Honorable Mention to Cooper Engen, Veronica Frystak, Sophia Wagman.

Announcements/Week Ahead

Special Education Huddles - With such a large building and staff it becomes difficult to get face to face connections between special educators and general educators.  To help address this concern, special education teachers will be calling "huddles" to discuss the needs of individual students on their caseload when needed.  Huddles will be at 7:15 a.m. in a designated area, will be conducted as a standing meeting, and will not last longer than 5 minutes.  Attendance at these huddles is required when notified by special education teachers.

Update from Sunshine: A "get well," card was sent to Tammy Behnke. Tammy will be out through Dec. 5th

Snow Days - As a reminder, our first two snow days will not require make-up days or virtual learning. If we reach a 3rd day, that is when virtual learning days will begin. Please reach out if you have questions or concerns.
