Announcements/Week Ahead

Privileges - Once grades and attendance are finalized, updated privileges will be sent out to students and parents.  Todd or Jeff will communicate updates throughout this week.

Flyers, Posters, etc. - All flyers and posters for student clubs or organizations must be signed by an administrator before they are hung up. Typically, the administrator will sign the original before copies are made.  Over break, we hung cork boards above the water fountains where signed flyers and posters can be hung.  Please restrict the hanging of any posters or flyers for clubs to those specific locations.

Advisory - As we head into the fourth quarter please start discussing Summer plans with Sophomores and Juniors.  Continue to look for announcements from Student Services and Canvas and keep putting that information for workplace learning experiences in front of our students.  

Sophomore Forward Testing  - Teachers received via email from Jenny Oosterhuis and/or at the faculty meeting the time schedules, assignments, tutorial directions for 3/29, and testing instructions overview. The small test manual, **test tickets, student rosters, testing signs, and scratch paper will be put in your mailboxes prior to Monday morning.  Please read this small manual to prepare yourself to help students with:

• tutorials and practicing on Tuesday, March 29, 45 min a.m. Advisory altered schedule
• test on Wednesday, March 30, (sophomore testing 7:28-9:13, late start period 1 at 9:28 a.m. for ALL students)

**Test Tickets - DO NOT hand out these until the day of the test.  They do not need their test ticket for the tutorial/practice testing.

Important Dates:

March

29          Forward tutorial/practice, Altered 45 min. Advisory Schedule

30          Altered Schedule, Sophomore Forward Testing 7:28-9:13 a.m., 

              shortened classes will start for ALL grades at 9:28 a.m.

April

12          ACT make-up testing, Periods 1-4, 

12          Aspire Altered Schedule (mandatory ELT for 10th grade), Review Aspire directions, check iPad, testing rooms, and practice problems

14          Wellness Day - Whole school
19          Aspire testing - Sophomores only 

26          Aspire make-up testing, IMC

May

25         Graduation from 6-9 - All teachers required to attend

                        Upcoming Field Trips 

Field Trips - Field trips are still permitted at this point.  Please consider academic and curricular importance when scheduling.  If the guidance changes, we will let you know. See Mike Raether if you have any questions.  Please submit class list 2 weeks prior to trip.
